Main-Flow è forse uno degli MC più talentuos e ambiziosi della scena Hip Hop. Main Flow Ha collaborato con artisti quali Hi-Tek, Talib Kweli, Black Thought (Roots), Killah Priest (Wu Tang Clan), Dj Greyboy, Defari, Mos Def e con il produttore numero uno per Dr Dre, Scott Storch solo per nominarne alcuni. Flow sta promuovendo il suo ultimo lavoro Flow Season prodotto con 7L.
u_net: Che stai combinando?
Main Flow: In questi giorni sto promuovendo il mio nuovo album "Flow Season" prodotto da 7L.
u_net: Quali sono state le canzoni che ti hanno fatto innamorare della cultura Hip Hop?
Main Flow: Le canzoni che mi hanno fatto innamorare dell’Hip Hop sono state "My Uzi Weigts A Ton" dei Public Enemy e "Brass Monkey" dei Beastie Boys.
u_net: Quando hai scoperto di voler essere un MC?
Main Flow: Ho scoperto le mie capacità e potenzialità quando avevo 14 anni e ho iniziato a scrivere le mie rime a scuola.
u_net: Come definiresti il tuo stile e il tuo flow?
Main Flow: Le mie influenze principali sono stati Rakim,Kool G Rap e Nas per questo definirei il mio flow in questi termini Road to the rich illmatic nati microphone fiend. Beh, descriverei il mio stile a tutto tondo… Posso fare di tutto!
u_net: Com’è nata l’esperienza con Donte e Mood?
Main Flow: Abbiamo deciso di chiamarci così per indicare i diversi stati emotive a cui la musica ti può portare… come un mezzo impegnato a cogliere messaggi di tipo spirituale.
u_net: In che cosa hai notato delle differenze passando da un elemento di un gruppo ad esibirsi come solista?
Main Flow: Il mio approccio è molto semplice. Non ho mai abbandonato I miei compagni e amici. Volevo dimostrarmi presente a differenza di Tek e Kweli che quando hanno visto la loro carriera decollare non si sono più preoccupati di aiutare chi era rimasto insidetro. Non volevo comportarmi così. Ho sempre pensato a crearmi una posizione migliore così anche gli altri membri della mia crew avrebbero avuto modo di lavorare.
u_net: Puoi parlarci di Wannabattle Enterprises LLC?
Main Flow: Wannabattle Enterprises LLC. è la società che ingloba Wannabattle.com, Wannabattle Publishing, Wannabattle Records e Wannabattle Wear. Il mio obiettivo è di fare in modo che ogni società sia un’entità indipendente dale altre creando un’alternativa per i consumatori nel mercato della musica, dell’abbigliamento e del multimedia.
u_net: Con chi ti piacerebbe fare delle collaborazioni?
Main Flow: Mi piacerebbe collaborare con Dre, Nas, gli Outcast e gli U2.
u_net: Quali sono i tuoi progetti futuri?
Main Flow: Come ti dicevo stiamo lavorando al mio ultimo album prodotto da 7L: "Flow Season" con la partecipazione di Esoteric,Grouch,Cormega e Donte (Mood).
u_net: Se potessi rifare un classico Hip Hop, quale sceglieresti?
Main Flow: "Get Down" di LL Cool J.
u_net: Secondo te di che cosa soffre la scena rap contemporanea?
Main Flow: Mancano dei veri MC, ecco perchè esiste Wannabattle.
u_net: Che cosa stai ascoltando in questo periodo?
Main Flow: Ascolto molti mixtape, Queens Of The Stone Age,7L & Esoteric e Whosane.
u_net: Quando entri in studio hai già dei testi pronti o liscrivi dopo aver ascoltato una base?
Main Flow: Dipende dalla situazione, direi entrambe le cose.
u_net: Hai una canzone preferita tra le tue produzioni?
Main Flow: Si,"Info For The Steets" anche se recentemente mi piace molto "Top Scholars" con Esoteric.

Main-Flow perhaps one of the most skilled and ambitious MC's on the Hip-Hop scene. - What’s going on right now?
- At the current momment i am promoting my new cd "Flow Season" produced by 7L.
- What are some songs that made you fall in love with hip-hop?
- The songs that made me fall in love with hip hop are"My Uzi Weigts A Ton",Brass Monkey"
- When you you understood your lyrical skills?
- I discoverd my skills at the age of 14,and i started working on my rhymes during school.
- How would your define your style of rhyming and flow?
- Well my influences are Rakim,Kool G Rap and Nas so i would have to describe my flow as (Road to the rich illmatic nati microphone fiend).lol Nah i describe my flow as well rounded..I can do it all!
- How you you come up with Donte and Mood?
- We came of with the name Mood to represent the different moods that music make feel.Also as a concious vehicle to record spritual vibes.
- From the experience of a group to the ones of a solo artist, how has changed your approach to hip-hop?
- My approach is simple .I just wanted to stay consistant since Tek and Kweli projects jumped off and they seem to never look back and help cats,i wanted to do the oppisite and better my position so that my click could eat.
- Can you tell us about Wannabattle Enterprises LLC?
Wannabattle Enterprises LLC. the mothership for (Wannabattle.com, Wannabattle Publishing, Wannabattle Records and Wannabattle Wear). "My main goal is to make sure that every Wannabattle company stands on its own and creates a large alternative for all the consumers in the existing internet, music, clothing and multi media markets as well as new and up and coming trends".
- What are the MC and the producers you’d love to collaborate with?
- I would like to collab with Dre Dre,Nas,Outcast and U2.
- Do you wanna tell us a little about your future projects? What should we expect in 2006?
- Look out for Main-Flow/7L "Flow Season" feat:Esoteric,Grouch,Cormega and Donte from Mood.
- If you could re-make any classic hip-hop song, what would it be?
- "Get Down" by LL Cool J
- What is hip-hop music lacking these days? What does hip-hop need?
- Hip Hop is lacking real mc's and it needs Wannabattle.
- What have been in your CD player or on your tape deck recently?
- Wannabattle Elite Beats,a new company i just started..Alot of mixtapes,Queens Of The Stone Age,7L & Esoteric,Whosane.
- When you do a song, do you come into the studio with pre-written lyrics or a theme in mind or do you hear the beat first and write then and there in the studio, from the beat?
- It just depends on the situation..i do alittle bit of both.
- Do you have a favourite song among your productions?
- "Info For The Steets" but as of late "Top Scholars" feat Esoteric
